What a year!.... I might be a tad late on this post. But hey , better late than never!

What’s better than getting a Vision board together for this New Year? While I was watching Youtube I came across Vision Board Videos for 2021. This interested me. I decided to create my own vision board for 2021.

I remember the first time I was introduced to the idea of a vision board or mood board. It was back when I first started and my first official professional subject (model/person) . Here are some ideas I put together for this year which I want to involve myself and YOU in. These I know are amazing pieces of my work and others work conjoined together. These include being in the moment, traveling and bringing you along with the journey-

Simple, right? I have always loved sunsets. There’s something to the orange light that amplifies any moment. Catching sunset and sunrise has many opportunities. You can be in different places or catch it at different times. The opportunities are endless for the moments you can capture.

This is something I hold close to share my adventures as I find beautiful locations and beautiful sunsets and sunrises. There are uniquely 712 opportunities to capture this light. I hope to bring you with me on this journey.

Travel the world - Vision board

During the summer of 2020, many things felt displaced. Including me. I found myself traveling the United States with no expectation. I found this to be one of the more relaxing parts of my year and would take it back at a moment's notice. I met many amazing people on my path, and connected with others' letters. I saw metros and mountains and shared my journey. I would love to continue this into the new year.

Travel has always been close to who I have been. I was originally adopted from Guatemala and traveled back and forth several times before the age of 7. I’ve found comfort in the 12 hours on flights or trains. The travel luggage, unfamiliar territories and adventure has followed me to this day.

Like many, I believe there are some amazing places on earth. Many I would like to visit and learn about. Traveling at times seems like a universal goal to see more than what is accustomed too. I would highly recommend it in the following year and creating your own Travel Vision Board.

Another part of traveling is connecting with others. Building and discovering new talents.

Throughout my time in Seattle I became awakened by the creative life. In my time in New York I met and talked with different photographers that gave me some great spots to take photos at. Throughout my train ride I also met world-class photographers and others that shared similar interests. This would be the best thing to do while traveling, met and connect and build.

Bringing YOU with

Who doesn’t love Behind the scenes? Behind the scenes shows what actually happens during a photoshoot or in general. Generally behind the scenes isn’t a special event, it’s really just reality. What happens when the cameras are off may be completely different from what you expected- From the setup to the people involved.

I’ve shared before some behind the scene photoshoots of my own and my friends. I really enjoy this style and hopefully can start to develop it further and possibly develop it further.

This is something that usually happens privately through Direct messages are talking in person. Some may include how to quickly remove objects from images, setting up your first photoshoot, what camera to get or really anything that comes to mind--- maybe not even photo related. But this is an essential part to building together and learning new things.

A Retelling

What exactly happened in 2020? Again. Well. My name is Isaias. Mid-May I was kicked out of my house under circumstances relating to the 2020 crisis (Can’t say it because of google). The following two months I worked hard trying to stay on social media and post my daily sunset runs, despite sleeping at friends houses and a lot of worry.

During the first week in July I needed to figure out a long-term solution and nothing I had been trying worked. The crisis closed numerous doors, and some were not available to be opened for concerns over the crisis. I decided to take the rest of my earnings and travel to the United states via train for around the same amount that would be paid for rent anywhere else. I traveled over 30 states in 30 days. I then returned to some friends house and there I started refueling and conducting photoshoots again, which I had very fun shooting.

New York Photograph The school year began and I was still working on my business. However, much of my money had been depleted, and I needed to work harder on my business. I sunk into school and debt and couldn't focus on creating content this way, as much as I wanted to.

ocean The following months from september- to late January I spent hours studying and learning outside of university. I’ve since learned many new things and have become refreshed. Throughout the past 6 months I have learned some valuable lessons and talked to many individuals in similar positions.

Although everything isn’t fully together, it’s definitely getting better. But I don’t believe I should forget it anytime soon, and think of it part of my journey. This Vision Board is my hope and my strife to each day.

Many of the situations and events in 2020 were never expected to happen. However I can confidently say that a majority of my Goals of 2020 were fulfilled. Interesting enough building onto the business right away had not been one of them. I spent 2020 learning, reading , watching, exercising as much as possible since being indoors left only one thing.

The best thing that came from 2020 though, was my friends. The people that surrounded me despite the circumstances. The one’s who where willing to lend a hand, thank you.
